JUMP again - a forum for New World culture. A blog by Ray Grist.

Omni Contemporary Art Gallery

The Omni Contemporary Art Gallery, Ray Grist, proprietor, is dedicated to presenting high quality paintings, prints, photographs, and sculpture, to the communities in Nassau County, NY.  Galleries in Chelsea, Soho, Williamsburg, The Hamptons  do not have a monopoly on where collectors and potential collectors can see and purchase fine art.

In addition, Omni Contemporary is creating opportunities to the many well-established and accomplished artists who might not have access or representation in the galleries in New York City or the North Fork of Long Island.  As well Omni Contemporary welcomes new artists whose works maintain  the high quality we recognise.

Omni Contemporary Art Gallery is located at 365 South Bayview Avenue, Freeport, New York, 11550.  We can be reached at 516 378 0938, or via email to omnicontemporary@gmail.com.  We are open to the public from Thursday - Saturday, 2 - 6 PM, or by appointment.

The first exhibition included the work of five artists: the emotionally evocative, detailed photographs of Margherita Auletta; Columbia University professor C. Daniel Dawson’s exuberant photographs of festivals in Brazil; the found-object, mixed-media sculpture of Barbara Delaney; former Director of the Abrons Art Center at the Henry Street Settlement Susan Newmarkcolorful and sensual collages; and internationally renowned painter and printmaker Ray Grist’s powerful and spirited works.
